  1. Thanks for this information! I have the Crayola 120 colored pencil pack and I would love to find out which different colors I can gain by buying Prismacolor pencils. I can’t seem to find a way to compare the colors of each brand to see if it’s worth the money to buy the Prismacolor pencils. I would love as many different colors as I can get!

Great question. If you want to go for a wider range of colors, I’d go for the Prismacolor. The latter (Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core, 150 Pack) in this review offers 150 different colors, whereas Crayola’s 120 colored pencil pack offers “just” 120 different ones. If you go to the Amazon page for Prismacolor’s offer you can see the code for each color and also the name for each + an example for how the color looks like. If you go to Crayola 120 colored pencil pack you can also see the 120 different colors. I agree, Crayola offers more sample colors on their product page on Amazon. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a way yet to directly compare the offers from each brand.
